Now, similarly, Instagram allows you to pin 3 posts on your profile. It could be a static photo post, Instagram reel or video. By doing this, your favorite posts or reels will get more reach and visibility.

How to use Instagram Grid Pinning?
Maybe you are not seeing the option of Instagram grid pinning! Then you must update the Instagram app from the Google Play Store or App Store. This feature was launched for beta users in April 2022 and currently, it is available for all Instagram users.
This feature allows you to pin 3 Instagram posts, reels or videos on your Instagram profile. Let’s see how to use the Instagram grid pinning feature:
- Launch the Instagram app and go to your profile
- Scroll down and go to the post or Instagram reel you want to pin to your profile
- Tap on three dots at the top right corner to access the more options
- Now, select the pin to your profile option
- Repeat the steps to pin 2 more posts or reels to your profile
Once you have pinned your favorite posts to your Instagram profile, you will see that those posts are getting more reach and engagement.
Now whenever any person will visit your Instagram profile he/she will see 3 pinned posts/ reels on your profile and there are many chances that they will watch it.

How to unpin Grid posts on Instagram?
In case you want to pin new posts or reels to your, it is not possible because the max limit for Instagram grid pinning is 3.
So what to do now? You can unpin the existing pinned posts or reels and pin the new posts or reels on your Instagram profile.
Follow the below steps to unpin grid posts on Instagram:
- Click on the grid post that is pinned on your Instagram profile
- Tap on 3 dots at the top right side to access more options
- Now select unpin from the profile option
When you try to pin more than 3 posts, you will get a pop-up notification like this. Because currently, the Instagram grid pinning limit is 3.
