How to Share an Instagram Story to your own IG Story
The method of sharing someone’s Instagram story with your story is simple.
It depends mainly on tagging, if someone tagged or mentioned you in their story, then it will be easier to share their IG story with your story.
If the user didn’t tag/mention you in his/her story, then you can’t share their story with your own. Currently, Instagram doesn’t allow you to share a story to your own story without getting mentioned.
Follow the steps to share someone else’s Instagram story with your own story, considering you are tagged or mentioned in their stories.
1 – First open the Instagram app and tap on the “paper airplane” which means the direct message icon in the top right corner of the Instagram app.
2 – Then open the inbox of the person who mentioned you in your story.
3 – On clicking the story message you will find the button “add to your story” and click on send to your story.
How to Send a Story to someone else
Many times we find some interesting Instagram story and want to share it with some close people so that they can know about that particular Instagram story. But in this case, you are not tagged by that user to their story. So how we will share that story?

2 – Tap on the “DM icon” you will find the icon in the top right corner of your phone on the Instagram app.
3 – Click on “send” next to each user you want to get the story.
That’s it. If the paper airplane icon doesn’t appear in the next text box, then it is certain that that account is private, and you will not be able to share stories with them.
